Murder mystery- how does it work?

Our company offers a unique interactive murder mystery experience with a variety of amusing murder plots. Your guests will be entertained over dinner by larger than life characters with comic scenes and intriguing riddles as the story unfolds. Attend the 100th Birthday celebrations for the Laird McTavish or dine at the 1920s speakeasy run by Ronnie Rocks with his gangsters and molls. Join a group of psychic investigators intent on contacting a Georgian ghost or experience the extravaganza of the Moulin Rouge! The winning team that deduces Whodunit receives a couple of bottles of bubbly. Set around a 3 course meal or cold buffet, our professional actors promise to make it an evening to remember!

 Dinner theatre running order:

Below is explained how a typical event runs, times vary from venue to venue, so do check when booking, doors for an event open 15 minutes before the start time; we ask guests to arrive on time as they may miss a vital clue if they are late. Murder mystery dinners tend to run about 3 hours approximately.

• 7:30pm Drinks reception Meet the characters at reception for pre-dinner drinks, where clue-packs are distributed and you get to know who’s who- keep your wits about you so you don’t miss a clue!
• 8:00pm Sit down for dinnerDinner is announced the guests take their seats and the suspects make introductions; they play out a dramatic scene, ending in who knows? Bloodshed?
• 8:15pm Dinner is served Each course is served and the comic plot unfolds. The actors perform comedic and clue packed scenes in between courses and table hop dropping clues, giving you the chance to question them. Word-games and Quizzes are introduced during the evening, which may reveal clues to who the murderer is!
• 9:45pm You solve the crime! Just before the dessert it’s your chance to be a super sleuth and figure out whodunit! Then hand in your solution sheets for judging, after which the dramatic denouement uncovers the dastardly villain whodunit! They may come to a sticky end…
• 10:15pm Prizes awarded The star prize of two bottles of bubbly is awarded to the winning team and a booby prize to the most absurd solution. But there's still a chance to win with our limerick competition, free prize draw and best fancy dress!
• 10:30pm Murder Mystery finishes: You may continue your evening with drinks at the bar, disco or a night on the town!
